I guess the procedure is something like: (1) export clustering results as some sort of network file) from the CitNetExplorer and (2) open the clustering results along with bibliographic files (with title and abstract) in VOSviewer to visualize/analyze keywords. I wonder whether there is any procedure/steps for me to follow to perform the function you showed in this paper (mainly, clustering of individual publications using CitNetExplorer followed by keyword analysis/visualization in an aggregate level using VOSviewer). In the Conclusion section of the paper, you described that 'However, the combined use of the two software tools is somewhat laborious, and preparing the input data for VOSviewer based on the clustering results provided by CitNetExplorer is not entirely straightforward.' I assumed that you'd performed the clustering using CitNetExplorer and then exported/input the resulting clusters to the VOSviewer, right?

However, I did not fully understand how you did to get Fig. It does appear to shuffle the 10 sites around so that sites that I haven't been to since the day after clearing the History are listed last but it never replaces the old sites with newer, more frequently used ones.Quick question regarding using both tools: when I read your paper (van Eck and Waltman, Scientometrics, 2017), you showed a great utility of using both tools. If I delete the History, the next time I use IE9 it updates with the new sites visited but once all 10 tabs have been used on New Tab, it doesn't update after that. I have a similar problem, Windows 7 and IE9. I can't help thinking all three problems are related.

I also have a problem with IE9 not updating the most popular sites and Yahoo Mail keeps saying I need to upgrade to IE9 when I already have the most recnt version. I've previously tried clearing the recent files list but it seems that once it gets to seven files listed then it stops updating the list.

one file is dated July, another dated November and so on. There seems to be no pattern as to what is shown e.g. When I hover my mouse over the Notepad icon, the list of recent files displayed contains seven files but is incorrect as files that I have used either that day or the day before are not being shown.
